V. Conejero is the founder and director of the very successful writing critique group, The NYU-Village Writers (http://www.NYUVillageWriters.webs.com). Her stories appeared in Writing Raw Magazine, during 2011-2012. Dr. V. Conejero was born in Havana, Cuba. She holds three academic degrees in music. She is a professional orchestra conductor (www.VivianConejero.com) and is the director of an international music festival (www.DMajorInternationalMusicFestival.com).
Robert J. Cooney
Robert is a native New Yorker. He earned his B.A. in Economics from CUNY Hunter College, in 2013. Currently, he drives a truck and works in Operations for UPS. For twenty years, he was a bartender, entertaining guests from Brooklyn, NY, to Laguna Beach, CA. Robert has been writing since his teens.
Primwatee Groover is a nonfiction editor with a publishing house that specializes in eastern philosophy. She's also a documentary filmmaker and photographer.
Richard Merli is a New York-based editor and investigative journalist whose career spans 25 years. Merli began his career as an investigative reporter for Gannett Company and has written on subject matter as diverse as politics, pharmaceuticals, the environment and textile management. A number of his investigative pieces exposed accidents, occupational illnesses and fatalities in the industrial workplace. He has edited a magazine, two newspapers and two digital publications. Merli completed his first screenplay in September, 2013. He is the author of hundreds of poems and sonnets and is devoted to poetry, both classical and new, as a creative craft and medium.
Erica Miles, Non-Fiction Editor & Principal Fiction Editor
Erica Miles studied writing at the Writer’s Voice of the Westside Y, the Mid-Atlantic Creative Non-Fiction Writers’ Conference, and the Colgate Writers’ Conference. Miles received her B.A. in Theatre from Brooklyn College and her M.A. in Teaching ESL from Teachers College, Columbia University. As a writer of poetry and plays all her life, Miles has now turned her hand to fiction. The re-release of her debut novel, Dazzled by Darkness: A Story of Art and Desire, is available on Amazon in paperback and Kindle.
Ann Ormsby is a freelance writer with a master's degree in journalism from NYU. Her work has been seen in The Newark Star-Ledger, The Huffington Post, The Alternative Press, patch.com and other outlets. Her debut novel, The Recovery Room, is now available on Amazon.com.
