The Jefferson Market library is on an island flanked by "Avenue of the Americas" on the West and Greenwich Avenue on the East.

Directions By Subway ND F train to the 14th Street station (14th Street and 6th Avenue, "Avenue of the Americas") Walk South on 6th Avenue, to the library. IRT 1/9 train to Christopher Street (at Sheridan Square) Walk East to Greenwich Avenue.

Finding a restroom at the library The ONLY restroom to be found at this library is a single, unisex toilet.  It is located on the first floor, at the Children's library.  The latter is a few steps up the lobby, at the left, as you enter the library on Avenue of the Americas.
